Senior and Middle DevOps Engineers

Omedia is looking for middle and senior DevOps Engineers.

What will you do:

  • Work in a European startup.
  • Design and build CI/CD pipelines for existing microservice-based systems.
  • Design and build cloud-native systems for AWS and Azure infrastructures.
  • Plan and implement the architecture for existing solutions to move to the cloud.
  • Write bash and python scripts.
  • Work with Atlassian products like Jira and Bamboo.
  • Work with Kubernetes.

The skills you should have:

  • Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform or other technology.
  • Experience working with configuration as code technologies such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with designing, managing, and building CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo is preferred, but other solutions will also be considered a plus).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and related components (CNIs, Container Registries, Containers Security Solutions, etc). CKA or other K8s-related certifications will be considered a plus.
  • Experience in building production-ready docker images.
  • Expertise in a public cloud (AWS, Azure) will be a plus.
  • Experience working with ELK will be a huge plus.
  • Knowledge of Hashicorp products (Consul, Vault) will be a plus.
  • Experience in documenting solutions.
  • Knowledge of general networking.

Application Review

After you apply to one of our openings, we do the initial review of your application and make sure that it meets our requirements.

HR interview

The first interview is held with our HR representative, where we’ll find out more about each other and validate our cultural fit.

Tech interview

With the tech interview, we make sure that your skills and competencies align with the specific requirements of our opening.

Assessment Task

At this stage, we want to see how you work in real-life situations. We’ll ask you to complete and send us a code for a small task.

Team interview

You will talk to the team you’ll be working with. You’ll get the project’s details, and the team will get a chance to meet their potential coworker.
