This page explains what personal data omedia.dev collects, why, who receives it, how long it is kept, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
omedia.dev is the website of Omedia LLC, 6 Gegechkori st, Tbilisi 0186, Georgia ("Omedia", "we"). For anything about your data, write to welcome@omedia.dev.
What we collect and why
- When you send an enquiry (the "Get a Quote" form): your name, company, email address, what you tell us about your project, your budget range and whether you need an NDA. We use it to answer you and to prepare a proposal. To measure our ads, the page you see after sending passes a one-way coded form (a SHA-256 hash) of your email address to Google Ads, where your cookie choice allows advertising, so Google can tell whether the enquiry followed a click on one of our ads; the address itself is not passed on.
- When you apply for a job (the careers form): your name, email address, LinkedIn profile, your CV, how you heard about the opening and anything else you add. We use it to assess your application for this and future openings.
- Where your visit came from. When you open the site, a small script stores in your browser where you came from: the campaign tags of the link you followed (such as
utm_source), an ad click identifier if there was one, the page you landed on and the site that sent you. Nothing is sent to us until you submit a form; then it travels with your enquiry or application, together with your country, so we know which channel brought it. If you allowed analytics cookies, the Google Analytics ID of your browser is included too. - How the site is used. With Google Analytics we count visits and see which pages are useful. With Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn we measure whether our ads work and show our ads to people who visited the site. Where your consent is needed (see below), these run only after you give it.
- Security. Cloudflare and reCAPTCHA protect the site and its forms from attacks and spam, which requires processing your IP address and information about your browser.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for automated decisions about you.
Legal bases
- Visitors in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: analytics and marketing cookies and similar technologies are used only with your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner and can change at any time under "Cookie settings". Before you choose, Google's tags may send measurements without cookies or identifiers.
- Visitors elsewhere, including Georgia: we use analytics and advertising measurement on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and promoting our services. You can switch them off at any time under "Cookie settings"; browsers that send the Global Privacy Control signal get advertising measurement switched off automatically.
- Enquiries: to take steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. Recording where an enquiry came from is part of handling it.
- Job applications: your consent, which you give on the form and can withdraw at any time by writing to us.
- Security and spam protection: our legitimate interest in keeping the site and its forms safe.

Our sales and HR teams receive enquiries and applications by email.
International transfers
Omedia is based in Georgia, and several of these providers process data in the United States or elsewhere outside your country. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses offered by the provider.

Where consent is needed, the analytics and marketing entries are set only after you accept them.
Your choices
- Cookie settings: the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page opens your cookie choices. You can accept or refuse analytics and marketing separately, and change your mind at any time. Open cookie settings.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, we switch advertising measurement off.
- Browser settings: you can also delete cookies and block them in your browser.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us for access to your personal data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw a consent at any time. Write to welcome@omedia.dev; we answer within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority, in Georgia the State Audit Office.
Children
The site is not meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect data about anyone under 16.
Changes
When we change how we use data, we update this page, and where needed we ask for your cookie choice again.
