Omedia is looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team.

- A highly experienced Python developer with strong data engineering and MLOps skills, who will join an existing team working on complex, large-scale data and ML projects.
- You'll be expected to work with our data scientists, manage ELT/ETL pipelines, support machine learning model lifecycles, and contribute to robust and scalable data systems in a distributed environment.

What you will do:

Work on enterprise-grade data-intensive applications.
-
Maintain the existing codebase and ensure its long-term stability.
-
Write clean, scalable code to meet new feature requirements.
-
Maintain and improve ELT/ETL pipelines.
-
Collaborate with data scientists and support them with advanced Python-based tooling.
-
Peer-review Python code and help resolve complex issues.

Manage and maintain ML models across their lifecycle.

Work with distributed systems such as Spark or Ray.

Optimize and monitor production systems.

Participate in incident response and occasional standby rotation.
The skills you should have:
-
7+ years of professional Python experience .

Strong experience with Apache Spark or Ray in MPP environments.

Proficiency in SQL, Pandas, and PyTorch (or similar ML frameworks).

Solid grasp of ETL/ELT practices and tools.

Hands-on experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines for ML (MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar).

Working knowledge of Airflow or other orchestration tools.

Familiarity with Google Cloud services, especially Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Cloud Composer, is a plus.

Good understanding of data modeling, statistics, and linear algebra.

DevOps experience on any platform is a strong bonus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent). GCP certifications are nice to have.
