I’m excited to share that I’ll be speaking at the first-ever Drupal AI Summit on December 9, 2025 in Paris. This is a milestone moment for the Drupal community: a dedicated space to explore how AI is transforming the way we build, run, and scale digital platforms. Drupal has always adapted to big shifts in technology, but the pace and potential of AI make this an especially interesting point in time.
The summit brings together a diverse group of engineers, product leaders, researchers, and contributors who are actively shaping the future of Drupal. Throughout the day, you’ll hear talks ranging from AI-assisted migrations to content optimization, secure and private AI setups, AI-powered search frameworks, and new ways to think about publishing workflows.
My own session will focus on how Drupal connects with the Model Context Protocol (MCP). I’ll be talking about the role Drupal can play as a structured, reliable interface layer for AI agents, and how MCP in Drupal opens the door for Drupal-powered systems to orchestrate increasingly complex automations.
We’ve been exploring these patterns inside Omedia, and it’s been fascinating to see how Drupal’s architecture lends itself naturally to AI-driven interactions. I’ll share some real examples, early challenges, and the larger implications for enterprise teams that want to adopt AI without rebuilding their entire stack.
